Leveraging Team Dynamics
Leveraging Team Dynamics provides the framework for teams to discover ways to be more competent and productive. Teams learn how their collective Behavior Styles can impact team performance and how to be more effective working together.
Program Outcomes:
- Understand the role and purpose of the team. What are the team's goals? What are the team's strengths and weaknesses? What are the team's challenges?
- Identify the individual Behavior Styles of the team members. Each team member will take the Behavior Styles assessment to help understand how each team member communicates and works best.
- Discover ways to modify behavior to work more effectively with teammates. Once team members understand the different Behavior Styles, they can learn how to adapt their own behavior to communicate and collaborate more effectively with teammates.
- Gain awareness of team dynamics. By reviewing a Team Distribution Chart, the team can understand the relationships between the team members.
- Assess team performance. This can be done by completing and measuring team competencies, such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Create a high performing team by understanding and developing the strengths of others. This means creating a team culture where everyone feels valued and respected, and where everyone has the opportunity to contribute their strengths.
- Create an action plan to improve team performance and communication between team members. This may involve setting specific goals, developing new team processes, or providing training and development to team members.
